I am a freelance writer and designer, originally from Liverpool now living in East London.
From 1990 I worked as a theatre designer and illustrator with a particular interest in Theatre for Children and Young People. I designed regularly for Polka Theatre in London and for small scale touring companies.
From 2000 I diversified and began writing scripts.
I am represented by Giles Smart at United Agents.

Designing :: Stage Design :: Making
1990 I won an Arts Council Bursary Award enabling me to develop my skills as a designer / maker. Polka Theatre in Wimbledon hosted my bursary where I designed regularly for the Under 5’s along with shows for the main auditorium.
I have illustrated two children’s books and numerous Theatre posters / flyers.
I continue to balance the efforts of writing words with the drive to make ‘things’ - I Craft regularly.
